Lost pref.prop file!

At one point I wrote over my pref.prop file with the wrong one, and was unable to get it back. I basically now have to start over completely even though there are saved game files from Chapter 4.

Is there any possible way to fix this? Do I really have to start over because I was trying to fix TellTale's buggy game?

ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

    If you run Windows and have that feature, you can try right clicking the prefs.prop in the savegame folder and selecting "restore previous version".

    Had to start the chapter over but I not the whole game, thank you so much for the tip :)
