Game unplayable even after reinstall

Hopefully someone can help.

After finishing Episode 1 and playing a few minutes of Episode 2 I stopped playing the game for about a month. When I went back to play I got an error saying that the save data was corrupt.

Long story short, since I was just starting Episode 2 I decided to just delete all the save files from the PS3 and any cloud saves. I uninstalled the game and then reinstalled it. After updating and starting the game I still get an error about a corrupted save file even though there are NO saved files to speak of. When I get the message the game just sits on the title screen(with the message) and I can't do anything.

To get back to the XMB I have to power off the PS3 and then power it back on.

I'm really wanting to play the rest of the Episodes for this game but at the moment I can't. Any ideas on what I can do? Thanks.

    The save corruption message will only present if you have save data. Since this message is delivered on Sony's side, please contact them if the message is appearing when you have no save data. Please make sure that you have removed all save files through the save utility on the PS3 XMB before contacting Sony about this issue. Furthermore, if you have reinstalled the game, including the latest updates (through v1.03), then this message will no longer appear even if you do have save files on your PS3. To ensure you get all applicable patches, please make sure you are logged into your profile and PSN when you launch the game.
