Episode 2, Chapter 2: Can't move!

[Edit: This post is about The Walking Dead. Sorry; I thought I was posting in a TWD-specific forum.]

The first time I'm given direct control over Lee's movement in this episode—which is shortly into Chapter 2, after the argument at the motor in—I'm unable to move. I can click on hotspots to walk over to them, but when I press the WASD keys, Lee turns to face the appropriate direction but doesn't move. His legs don't even animate.

Surely related: his legs didn't animate during Chapter 1, either. During the intro scenes, when he's in the forest with the other guy, he just glides along the surface of the ground. Chapter 1 doesn't require or allow any manual movement, so I was able to complete it without any problem.

Any ideas?

    I even tried replaying in a new save slot, from the beginning of Episode 1. When I finally got to Episode 2—exact same behavior.

    If I can't get a fix to this, I'm gonna have to demand a refund from Steam. This is a game-breaking bug.

    I'm having a problem with episode 2, chapter 2 as well. But it's on the "Infected" part of chapter 2. Katjaa asks me about the kid I chose to save. Zombie noises. She gets grabbed and the game freezes. I tried replaying the chapter from the start, rewinded many times, changed the settings, fullscreen and all and still not working.
