TWD: All save-files still not recognized..

THIS IS FOR TWD BTW! -Won't let me update the title for some reason for editing, if a mod could fix that that would be great

Hey all,

Episode 1-4 were all successfully completed, and then I was waiting for episode 5 to come out. In that timeframe, I had to re-install my OS. BUT, I did make sure to backup my entire game-folder for The Walking Dead in steamapps (I purchased off steam). So I go to launch my game, pick episode 5, and what does it say? Would you like us to randomly generate decisions? UM NO? I played all this time, keep my decisions! Go to load game, NO GAME SAVES FOUND. Episode 5 came out weeks ago, patch for this is still not out. I've waited forever for a patch for this, friends are telling me ending is epic. Yet I cant play it... I spent $25 on this, and I still can't even finish the game now that it's completely out.. Been playing since Episode 1 :( Please help! I've waited weeks :)

    The saves are not stored in the steamapps folder but rather at
    Win Vista/7: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead
    XP: %userprofile%\My Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead\
    Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Telltale Games/TheWalkingDead/

    If you haven't backed up that folder i fear you have lost your saves.

    >.< When I transferred those files over to my laptop to continue the story, it worked.. Kind of dumb as well how your progress isn't saved in the steam cloud unlike every other game...
