TWD: Game freezes on Episode 2, chapter 2

I'm playing on a Mac, on Steam.

I'm at the beginning of chapter 2, when Katjaa is talking to me before she's grabbed from behind by the zombie. I barely have time to select a reply and the game freezes. The zombie sounds go on though and there's nothing I can do. I tried rewinding several times but the game freezes always around the same point (sometimes a little after). So I am stuck, unable to do anything but listen to zombie sounds go on and on and on.

Any thoughts?

    Sometimes exiting the game and then going back in takes care of these glitches.

    Sadly I tried that and it's not working. I've rewinded a chapter before and it still froze at the same spot. I'm not sure what I can do.

    I've launched the game on another computer. The game quits after I try to load a chapter. What is wrong with this game?

    So... after letting the game simmer for a while, I tried again. And it worked. I was able to finish episode 2 and started episode 3 and I was way into it when the same bug happened again. Are all episodes going to be like that? It really is annoying to have to stop in the middle of a game because of a bug!
