2nd Time lost saved games

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me, After losing my saved games from episode 3 when I downloaded episode four I restarted the game. I had all the episodes downloaded and started again, now half way through episode 3 i have just logged in and my saves are not working, although they are in my documents.

Would someone please post me a link to a fix for this. I'm sure there is one, i've tried to look through some but sure what to do. I'm really wanting to complete this game but sick of the biggest puzzle being why are my save games not working!

    Are you running the Steam or TTG store version?

    I've directly brought this from the Telltale website not from steam

    What's the file size of the prefs.prop in your savegame folder?

    I see. It looks like it's gotten corrupted, because it grows in size over time and should be bigger after several episodes.

    If it's available on your system, the best you can try is the "restore previous version" feature on the prefs.prop (right click, "properties", "restore previous version").

    Brilliant, thanks for that. I've been using Windows 7 for years now and always forget about that feature.

    It's a nice thing to have. I read that it's disabled by default in Windows 8, so you are one of the lucky ones.
    I recommend that you make backups of your savegame folder every now and then just to be save.

    Will do and thanks again, haven't got any plans to upgrade to 8 yet :)
