The Walking Dead saves not being recognized by game

I had been attempting to run TWD at full screen on a second monitor, and after being successful TWD no longer recognized previous saves. The saves have not been deleted, and are still in the Telltale folder. Furthermore, when I attempt to run the game on my original monitor the saves are no longer recognized as well. Any suggestions or fixes for getting TWD to recognize my saves?

Try the "prefs.prop" fix where you copy it to Pack/default from the telltale folder.
Try reverting to a previous version of prefs.prop
    Try verifying the game cache.
Try rebooting Steam and your machine.
Try running the application as an administrator.
Try changing the compatibility to Windows 98/ME.

If none of those work, welcome to my boat.
If they do, awesome, I'm happy for you.

Yup, none of those fixes work. Wow this really blows. The game is great but having to replay it kinda kills the appeal and the gravity of the decisions.

Be prepared for massive let down. Tell Tale is sitting on its ass on this one. No help whatsoever...

I'd think the company being silent on this issue would be more indicative of that they can't solve the problem than they don't care.

That makes sense, certainly. End result is sadly still the same, though. We wasted money on something that's been broken for months with no indication that they'll ever fix it :/

Mine stopped recognizing my saves less than 24 hours after I bought it. :/
