Can't Rewind : Game freezes

I downloaded the season pass for PS3 version and whenever I attempt to rewind the game freezes. I am currently still in episode 1. I hit the square button which takes me to the rewind selection screen just find. But as soon as I hit the X button to select a chapter nothing happens and the game freezes, forcing me to hit the home button to manually exit the game. How can I fix this?

    I had the exact same problem, but after downloading and installing episode 2, I was able to do rewinds in episode 1 :)

    If any one else buys the season pass, make sure to install at least the first two episodes before starting the game.
