Episode 3 save import issue

Ok, so I beat episode 2 last night and then this morning learn that I have to beat the ending section again. After I beat it again see my stats and exit to the main menu to play episode 3. However, every time it wants to generate random choices instead of use my saves from Episode 2. I can see my stats for both episodes when I try to click play for Episode 3 but if I close the game and open it back up I have to rebeat episode 2 in order to see my stats again. I did rewind at one point in episode 2 because I thought I missed something and I didn't. I don't know if that changes anything.

How do I fix this? I tried going along with the generate thing to see if it was really broken and it is because in the recap from the other episodes the choices are not mine.

I'm having an issue similar to the person in this thread. However, I can't follow the persons solution because I don't have a folder in my public documents like the guy says. http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/...d.php?p=665021

Thanks a bunch! I even thought about checking the PC gaming wiki but didn't because I didn't think it was going to have it. Good to know that it's really taking off.
