Lag Lag Lag..

Why does this game lag for me so much? I'm using a new iPod touch, and about 10 minutes through all I get is audio lag, gameplay lag, cut scene lag and input lag, basically I can't play the game, when something attacks me the controls lag and render it useless

I honestly was thinking of buying all the episodes, but I'm not paying 15 odd quid of lag
