(MAC)save transfer problems

How do i transfer TWD save files from ep1 to ep2? When i'm choosing to load my save file with finished ep1 and trying to start ep2, the game always suggests me to create a random story.

    The transfer should go automatically and this sounds more like the broken savefile problems, which have been a problem for quite a while now.
    There are some options to try to fix these problems floating around this PC/MAC support forum, but there hasn't been an official patch or fix yet.
