UPDATED - The Walking Dead - Episode 1 restarts

Hi everyone,
We have received reports from players who are experiencing Episode 1 loading when they attempt to play other episodes of The Walking Dead. We have looked into this issue, and discovered 2 separate cases where this may occur.
In rare instances, loading a new episode or an existing save from an Episode other than the first can load Episode 1 instead. This will overwrite the current save data on the save slot being used. We currently do not have a guaranteed workaround for this method. However, if you'd like to try to recover your save, some other forum users have had success with the following method. First, copy your save from slot 1 to slot 3. Now select your slot 1 save and choose the last episode you were playing. It should start from the beginning, but your prior choices should also be intact.
If you own the retail disc version of the game, you may experience what looks to be a similar issue of Episode 1 playing instead of starting the selected episode. Though similar to the issue above, this is only experienced if you have an online enabled xbox live account (free or gold), but are playing the game offline. If you connect to Xbox Live while you play the game, or play with an offline account, you should no longer experience this issue.
Please note that we have been investigating these issues, and believe we have determined a solution for both. We have recently submitted a potential fix to Microsoft, and are awaiting their response. Once approved, this update will be released through a Title Update on Xbox Live. I will update this post with more information as it becomes available.
We do apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope to release an official update as soon as possible.

A Title Update has been released that should fix this issue. To download this Title Update, log into your profile, connect to Xbox Live, and then start The Walking Dead. You will be prompted to install the new update. Going forward, you should no longer experience these said game issues. Unfortunately this update will not restore saves that have already been lost.
