need help getting inside house...

I'm barely into the game... in the backyard, and I can "look" at the glass door to the house, but I cannot get in. I use a PC. Please help!

    when you get to the door click on the handle and you should see an eye and a hand icon scroll down to the hand icon and click it

    you can either scroll your mousewheel or keys 1, 2, 3 etc to change what action you want to do.

    the default action is looking at it, I believe there are two more, knocking and entering.
