Walking Dead Black Screen to Desktop

I just started playing 5 minutes ago and am already having problems. Every 30 seconds or so the game lags, sometimes going to a black screen temporarily, sometimes even showing my desktop temporarily. The game doesn't close, but this constant...whatever this is...is causing me to die in the game because I can't do anything. I have an Nvidia GTX 550 Ti with 1GB of ram, 4GB of system ram, and an athlon 64 X2 @ 2.16Ghz so I don't think system specs are a problem.

    Please try this.

After you launch the game open the task manager, go to processes and find WalkingDead101.exe. Right click it and select set affinity. I then select all processors. I'm running a quad core and since doing this it has not stuttered once. Just finished off episode 2.

If it doesn't help, please post your dxdiag info.

    dxdiag
Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter
Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.
Windows 8: At the start screen, type in "dxdiag" and hit enter

Now click on the button that says "save all information".
It will prompt you to save a file. Save it where you can find it.

Open the file and press Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+C to copy the contents, and paste them in a reply by pressing CTRL-V.
Sometimes the Forums spam filter catches long posts like this. Don't worry, we can still see them and make them visible.
