PayPal payment does nothing

I seem to have a problem paying for Sam and Max Season 2 Upgrade, using paypal. Everything went ok, I clicked on checkout, I entered PayPal site, logged in, the sum was correct. I choose one of my cards which I'm using with PayPal, clicked on pay 29.90$ then nothing happened. The login screen from PayPal appeared again, like in the beginning.

I thought it's a PayPal problem, so I donated 2 euros to an open source project, to check if it's working. The donation process worked flawlessly...

Do you have any ideas why I can't pay on digital river with PayPal? Thanks a lot!

    I'm going to cancel the orders you tried to place, so you won't get annoying email reminders about how you haven't paid for them yet. :p

    It does sound like a PayPal problem. (I looked at your orders and don't see any indication of it being a problem on our site or DR's.) Could you try emptying your cart, clearing out all cookies for telltalegames.com, digitalriver.com, and paypal and starting again from the beginning? Also, what browser are you using?

    (The money hasn't been removed from your PayPal account, has it?)

    Thanks, I received all 4 cancellation mails. As far as I see, no money were drawn from my account/card, so from this point of view everything is fine.
    As for the browser(s) I used Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer, all three with all history, cookies, etc. cleaned before I ordered. In all three cases, the things happened exactly as I described in my previous post.
    I will wait a few days, and I will try to place the order again, maybe it was something wrong with PayPal. I checked my card to see if there are enough money, and everything seems to be fine... But as I said, the funny part is that I managed to make a payment elsewhere with PayPal immediately after the 4 failed attempts here. I don't know what to belive anymore... :confused:

    Well, I think it's a problem with PayPal that's specific to our checkout, but I don't know exactly what since I placed a test order and didn't have any problems.

    Please try it tomorrow, and if it still doesn't work let us know. Don't worry, we'll figure it out. :)

    A second Romanian customer has reported the same problem, and I've asked Digital River if they can work with PayPal to figure out what's going on. I'll let you know when I have new information.

    Same thing just happened to me when buying "Surfing the Highway" over PayPal. I tried a second time and the following appeared on screen:

    We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com.

    Unfortunatelly for me, Digital River doesn't seem to accept payment with credit card from my country (as I found out when I tried to buy season 1), so Paypal is my only hope...

    You shoudl also be able to use wire transfers.

    I too am having problems with Paypal.

    It's a new problem for me, since I was able to buy a gift episode 1 of S&M in December without a hitch.

    I also got same problem. Nothing appears in Paypal history, in my bank account history or even in Telltale Store history. Is it safe to try again or is the order still somewhere hidden? I can use a credit card, I just thought paypal would have been safer.

    *24h with no sign of order anywhere, so I just ordered again with credit card. It worked with no problem.

    For those who are having this problem (and have not already ordered with a credit card), could you try it again? PayPal is supposedly working on it and it may be fixed already, but I have no way to test it myself.
