[TMI] Tales of monkey island DVD black screen

Hello,

I've bought the DVD version of "Tales of monkey Island".
Chapters 3, 4 and 5 are working fine. But for chapters 1 and 2, I only have a black screen with sound when I try to play.
Could you please tell me how to solve this problem?

    It's possible that it starts in a resolution that isn't supported by your display.
    Please try pressing Alt-Enter to put the game into windowed mode. Then check the graphics settings in-game.

    Thanks for your quick answer.
    I've tried every resolution and quality, but it's still black.
    I only have subtitles and sound.
    I tried to uninstall and install the game one more time, but it didn't change anything.

    Are the graphics there in windowed mode?

    No, it's black on window mode or in full screen mode.

    This problem happends only in chapters one and two.

    I see. Please post your dxdiag info.

    Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter
    Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.
    Windows 8: At the start screen, type in "dxdiag" and hit enter

    Now click on the button that says "save all information".
    It will prompt you to save a file. Save it where you can find it.

    Open the file and press Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+C to copy the contents, and paste them in a reply by pressing CTRL-V.

    These integrated X1200 graphics chips are known for causing problems with some of TTG's games.

    Please run the DirectX updater.

    If it doesn't find anything to update or doesn't help, you can try if installing one of the previous graphics driver versions helps.

    If that doesn't work either, you might need a graphics card, to get it to work properly.

    Probably not related to the issue, but i also suggest installing the latest Realtek HDA Sound driver.
