TWD: New Game?

I have the PS3 disc of the WD.

I played through episode one.

My option was to start a new game.

I navigated using L2 ( I believe ) to episode two and started it in a "new game" slot.

Is this the correct way to play new episodes?

    When I started Episode 2, one of the characters who was dead was still alive so I guess going the route I used must have been the wrong way?

    I moved this to game support.
    Starting a new game in a new save slot should have worked.

    What you are experiencing is a bug. I don't know how to troubleshoot PS3s though.

    I started episode 3 in the same slot as 2.

    I didn't see anybody missing.

    Ah, i misunderstood your process description.

    If you want to continue playing with the same decisions, you have to play each episode in the same save slot.

    If you start a later episode in a new save slot, the game will offer you to randomize previous decisions.
    That's probably what happened in your case.
