Walking Dead, keeping save file after app deletion

I've just finished The Walking Dead on my iPad and it was amazing. I want to be able to delete it to free up some room on my device, but I don't want to lose my save file as I've read that there are plans to have TWD Series 2 make use of the decisions made in Series 1.

Is there any way to make a backup of my save that I could keep for future use (either for Series 2 or just to view my decision stats) and delete the game from my iPad for now?

    Yes.
    Connect your iPad via USB to your PC/Mac.
    Use iExplorer or Phoneview to access your iPad "Apps".
    Find the Walking Dead app, navigate to Documents Folder, make a copy of prefs.pop and all .save files to your PC/Mac.

    Thanks! My iPad has been acting up for months so I need to install from scratch only thing that has been holding me back is losing my saves for things like Walking Dead.

    Now I can hopefully finally resolve my issue.

    Awesome, thanks! I should probably back up all my other important app data too, while I'm at it.

    I deleted the app without saving the data :/. Is there any way to recover my gamesave progress? Or can i get a similar gamesave that i had? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

    Excuse me, I have passed episode 2 of TWD on my iPad, but I deleted the saving file by mistake. I cannot directly skip the animation if I play it from the beginning, and I still wish to play following episodes of TWD season1. So could you please send me your saving file to my email: londyzyh@hotmail.com

    Hi and Thanks for the info!

    However, now that I'm trying to copy the prefs.pop and all .save files from my mac to the ipad, the saves does indeed seem ok when I open the app but no matter if it's either that I delete an old save I don't want anymore or I make some progress in one of the restored saved files (it doesn't matter if it's not a restored save anyway), when I close the app from the background and open it again my progress and changes are gone, even if I deleted a save file, it reappears.

    Is there a way to solve this? I tried using a different prefs.pop file, a different version of the app, but no luck.

    Any help would be appreciated thanks.
