We have received reports from a number of players stating that they are experiencing issues when playing The Walking Dead on Xbox 360. We have determined that these issues are being experienced by those who played the game for the first time after 03/06/13 (both digital download and retail disc versions are affected). Those who played The Walking Dead when connected to Xbox LIVE before this date are not affected. Those who are affected are not receiving an automatic Title Update as they should when starting the game for the first time when connected to Xbox LIVE. Title Updates are necessary to ensure you have the latest version of the game, offering the best performance.
We strongly recommend that anyone who wishes to play the game without waiting for the Title Update takes steps to back-up a copy of their save file on a flash drive or Memory Unit, in case issues are encountered. Once the Title Update is available as normal, you will be prompted to install it when launching the game (when connected to Xbox LIVE).
We are working directly with Microsoft to resolve this issue as soon as possible and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused. As soon as more information is available we will update this thread.
