Walking dead won't save episode 5

So I got half way through episode 5 when real life happened and I exited the game. but when I get back the game puts me at episode 4 and when I hit continue it asks if I want to rewind and lose my data. not seeing any other choice I agree and then I get a black screen with a mouse icon, and it doesn't do anything. after 10 minuets I gave up and CTRL-ALT-deleted out of the game. please help I need to save Clementine from that pedophile before i die!!!

    Please follow the instructions to run the Support Tool and attach the resulting "support_data_pc.zip" or "support_data_mac.zip" to your next reply in this thread.

    You have two active prefs.prop files, which sometimes happens, but causes problems.

    Please try renaming the prefs.prop in
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default
    to prefs.prop.bak

    The last part of episode 4 won't save into episode 5. Can you please help me.

    Sorry about sending you the wrong zip file earlier but I noticed another pref.prop in the walking dead episode 4 section in the program file. Should I change that to pref.prop.bak instead.
