Bad speed and graphics because of Windows Vista?

When I was looking at the minimum requirements, I somehow missed that it said Windows XP, when I have Vista.
I do believe that I meet all other requirements but when I tried to play the game (The Walking Dead) everything was moving really slow, voices didn't match with dialogue, and background images didn't show up (were replaced by an image of what looked like a tree) Is this because of using Vista? Is there any way that the game will work on Vista? What about Windows 7? I'm really hoping there's a way as I would love to play the game. Hopefully you can help.
Thank you
Kelly

I also ran the support program...hopefully I attached the results properly.

You attached only parts of the result.
Please attach the support_data_pc.zip or the dxdiag.txt

Thank you for answering...Sorry about that...

When I ran the program it didn't add a "support_data_pc.zip" file to my folder, and the "dxdiag.txt" file is 40kb, and it says it is too large to attach.

The black box that shows up when you run the program said it was "searching for prefs.props files"...
    "file not found"
    "listing savegame folder"
    "listing install folder"
Then press any key to continue. That was it. When I pressed enter it closed and the only files to appear were the "dxdiag32.txt" file and, "data.txt" file.

    Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE
    Driver Date/Size: 12/19/2006 06:38:00, 3055616 bytes

Description: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
    Date and Size: 1/18/2007 11:56:00, 1729632 bytes

The problem is mostly caused by your old graphics card.

Please try setting all graphics settings to minimum/off in the ingame menu and reducing the resolution.

You can also try if updating to the latest graphics driver helps.

Since your sound driver is old too, i would also try installing the latest version of the Realtek HDA Driver.

Thank you so much for helping so quickly! I tried finding the right driver updates myself but I was so afraid of installing the wrong one. I appreciate you linking me to the right ones.
