Lost all save progress

I've almost reached end of 4th episode, but TWD froze my PC and i had to restart it. After the restart all game progress was gone and slot 1 (where i was saving the game) was empty.

Attacked you can find results from PC Support Tool. I have Steam version of the game and am running Windows 7 64 bit.

Please help me restore game progress!

    It seems that your prefs.prop file got corrupted during the crash, otherwise it would be bigger.

    Please disable steam cloud for TWD (In Steam, right click TWD and select "properties". Open the tab "updates" and remove the checkbox from "Enable Steam cloud synchronization for TWD").

    Then you can try the "restore previous version" feature (right click, "properties", "restore previous version") on the prefs.prop file.

    If that doesn't work please .zip and upload the *.save files to an instant filehoster and post the download link.

    I combined your latest .save file with a generic prefs.prop to make it readable.
    It's not a 100% solution, but it should bring you back to where you left off.
    Downside of the workaround is that you can't rewind or view the stats of past episodes anymore, but its better than nothing.
