TWD Black screen crash on launch (mac)

Hi I have a Macbook pro 15" and every time i try to launch the game a black screen always appears forcing me to restart my computer. I really dont want to waste me money on a game that i cant play. What should i do?:mad:

    Do you have the TTG Store, Steam or Disc version?

    I downloaded it off the website and it won't play, it just stays at a black screen and I can't see my mouse either

    Please follow the instructions to run the Support Tool and attach the resulting "support_data_pc.zip" or "support_data_mac.zip" to your next reply in this thread.

    Yeah it is playing now i just tried it in class, but it says through episode 2-5 "Coming soon" so does the mac version not have those episodes yet?

    The Episodes are all out, but there seems to be some issue on your system.
    I can't do much for you without the support tool info though.

    The game hasn't downloaded the latest patches completely yet. Normally it does that on startup, but sadly it doesn't inform you about it. So when startup takes several minutes it's usually downloading the updates.

    If the game starts to the menu without downloading the patches next time you start it, please try deleting the SyncFS folder:
    /Users/Summer/Library/Application Support/Telltale Games/TheWalkingDead/SyncFs
