TWD - Disconnect Internet Fix?

I currently have the issue where I try to load TWD and it gets to the "Click to Continue" screen and then walkingdead101.exe crashes.

The only fix I have found is to unplug my ethernet cable. That is not a very ideal situation. Is there a fix in the works for this?

    Nope. There are some unofficial ideas floating around on the support forum (run as administrator, compatibility settings, etc), but no official fixes.
    Telltale is busy working on PN2 and Fables, no time for looking back.

    Thats a bummer. I know its not the biggest deal, but I really do no want to be disconnecting every time.

    Compatibility mode and admin both didnt work for me.

    I had a case where i examined everything i could think of. Eventually updating the Mainboard's BIOS fixed it.

    Amazing. BIOS update worked for me as well.
