Activating Sam and Max

Hiya. I would like to buy sam and max from telltale by download. Unfortnately i'm behind a university firewall that only seems to allow 'internet' ports open i.e. i can't get onto steam, activate games like bioshock or generally do anything other than download files. Would I still be able to buy and run Sam and Max under these conditions, or do I need to find a boxed copy?

    There's a tab for Manual Activation where you can get a request code. Send that code and your serial number to support@telltalegames.com and we will send you a unlock code that doesn't require the internet. Sadly you will have to do this for each episode as the request codes are unique.

    The download is straight http, and I believe activation takes place over the standard https port 443, although I'm not able to check that right now. If you run into activation issues, there's always Scott's option. We'll get you playing one way or another :)

    The downloads are standard HTTP protocol, so if that doesn't work out then your school's network is more draconian than most military networks!

    Activation occurs on ports 80 and 443. If one doesn't work, it will try the other. If neither works, then you'll need to do the manual activation as Scott outlined.
