How high do the blinds actually go?

This is something I've been wondering about for the original game, but also I suppose it applies to the about to be released sequel as well. That is, how high are the blinds actually programmed to go?

The highest I've ever seen them get in a game is $1000, $2000 during a very unusual game that dragged on for a ridiculous amount of time. But I am curious to know how much further they could go, and if there's voice work recorded for them.

I suppose someone could use the Telltale Speech Extractor to find out just how many "The blinds are now..." lines Winslow has. The actual answer could be less (or even more!), but it'd give a general idea, at least.

I was unaware the Telltale Speech Extractor was a thing!

Using it, it looks like the highest there are for voices, at least, is $2000, $4000. Assuming the Host doesn't have any voices for other sized bets that aren't marked as Host files. There's a jump between $1000, $2000 and $2000, $4000, with nothing in between.
  • Sorry for reviving an old thread. In PN2 the blinds go up to 5000 and 10,000. Takes 45 hands to get there.

  • Managed to get over 50 hands. Blinds were 8000 and 16000.

  • Presumable if you played 55 hands blinds are 16000 and 32000. 60 hands 32000 and 64000. Can't see the game going much beyond that.

  • The blinds go in PN2:

    1 - 5 400 and 800
    6 - 10 600 and 1200
    11 - 15 800 and 1600
    16 - 20 1000 and 2000
    21 - 25 1200 and 2400
    26 - 30 1400 and 2800
    31 - 35 1600 and 3200
    36 - 40 1800 and 3600
    41 - 45 2000 and 4000
    46 - 50 4000 and 8000 The upper limits of GladDos's blinds remarks
    51 - 55 8000 and 16000
    56 - 60 16000 and 32000
