TWD Doesn't Launch

Hi, I'm brand new to the forums, but no time for intros, since I have a rather annoying problem.

I have installed The Waking Dead for the first time on my computer (via Steam), on Windows 7, and it doesn't launch. Absolutely nothing occurs, except the Process immediately ends itself without any prompt from me.

Things I've done to try to fix this problem:

Verify the game on steam.
Run in Compatibility mode for Windows 7, and Windows XP (just to be thorough).
Run as an Admin.
Dropped the dinput8.dll into the Steam Folder.
Did the Compatibility Troubleshooter.

    Did you check the support FAQ?

    If nothing in there helps, please follow the instructions to run the Support Tool and attach the resulting "support_data_pc.zip" to your next reply in this thread.

    I've followed the steps in that thread, nothing works. Not even getting an error message.

    I suggest you remove the dinput8.dll you placed in the steam folder. That's only a workaround for a certain issue with Windows 8, and could cause problems at some point.

    I notice you have two graphics chips. If the game tries to start with the Intel graphics chip that could cause it to crash. Please make sure the game is forced to run on the nvidia GPU.

    I don't know your system. There might be an option in the graphics driver settings.

    Is there any entry showing up in the event viewer after trying to start the game?

    I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be watching for, but by some miracle the game finally started. Don't know if the problem I've been having is solved though.

    Something must have changed somehow...
    I hope it keeps working.
