How do I unlock a Borderlands 2 item?
To unlock a Borderlands 2 item in Poker Night 2, you will need to win a tournament where a rare bounty item is offered. Here are the steps to do this:
1. Complete your first tournament in Poker Night 2 (this will unlock bounty challenges)
2. Start a new tournament
3. 3 bounty challenges will be chosen at random (these can be seen by pressing R2 anytime during the tournament)
4. Complete all 3 of these bounty challenges and complete the current tournament
5. At the start of the NEXT tournament, a random bounty item will be offered as a prize if you WIN the tournament
Once a bounty item is won, this item can be viewed from the Bounty menu (from the Main menu, select Stats, then Bounties). Use 'X' to select the unlocked bounty item and then select
(Square) to download that item.
Please note: When you select (Square) to download, a download prompt will appear. Once the item is downloaded you will automatically be returned to the Bounties screen. To make sure your item was downloaded properly, exit Poker Night 2 and start Borderlands 2. At the Main Menu, select 'Extras' and 'Shift Code'. You should have a new Shift message informing you that the unlocked item was added to your inventory. If you DO NOT have a Shift account, you will need to create one on the same PSN ID you used to unlock the item in Poker Night 2, and then download the item again from the Bounties menu!
Once the item has been downloaded, start Borderlands 2 and load the character that corresponds to the unlocked item, and then equip the item to your character at any Quick Change station in the game.
