5 months later, still no Windows 8 Support?

How is it possible that on a new title, and 5 months after the software was released that Telltale still don't support Windows 8 in their programming?

I still have to unplug any controllers in order for the game to run - guys, I'm not paying money to not be able to play the game the way I want to. Unless this is fixed going forward, it will be the last game I purchase from Telltale.

I agree, I am sure its something entrenched in the game engine they used as it has plagued all of their games in recent memory. I will put a link here to the unofficial workaround, from the sounds of it you know that it exists but incase others see this thread. http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=682670&postcount=16

Hopefully they can start supporting Windows 8 and controllers since the engine should be using xinput since that is what has been available since directx9.

Honestly I gotta ask why you would even ask for this support. No one is using Win 8 for anything but phones or tablets. Win 8 is already considered to be the Vista of this time period. Not trying to start a fight but this is almost like asking it to support Win 98 ME

Windows 8 (32 + 64bit), second place with 10.6% of the total Steam user base in March 2013?

I'm not trying to defend any of the two positions. Just trying to bring up facts.
