360 freezing issue

Seems like I am not the only one with this issue. The game freezes mainly when a few things are happening.

- A full set of items is being used (ie Borderlands chips, cards and felts)
- In a cut scene during my play

I have waited as long as 3 minutes for any reaction, where I am unable to access the dashboard or pop up window at all. Every time I have had to reset my xbox and play the hand over.

It seems like it starts looking for the next "reaction" from a character and can't find it, just going off dialogue finishes when t has frozen.

As I type this my xbox is nearing 5 minutes of being frozen. So much for those pocket Aces I played.

Great game though and worth every penny.

I have experienced those same problems except the game will become stuck on Press A to Deal the Next Hand for me. It really saps all the fun out of the game. :(

The issue you mentioned OneTimeThing is different from this crash, and we are looking into it. You can find another thread on the issue Here

In regards to the crash, is this happening consistently or has it only happened once?

Can you please provide more information about your system? Do you have an original Xbox or a Slim? Do you have a physical hard drive attached, and if so, what's it's capacity and how much free space is left? If you do not have a physical storage device (for instance, the Xbox Arcade Unit or a 4GB Slim), please specify the type of storage device you are using. Is the game data, your save game, and your profile all located on the same storage device?

Any other information you can provide will be a huge help in reproducing this issue.

Sorry for the delay in response.
This crash does occur every time I play the game, except when I mix up the items (ie Venture bros chip and cards, borderlands felt).

I have an S model 360, 250gb drive with 13gb free at time of original crashes. I have since deleted several game installs and have around 50gb free.

One thing that seems to precipitate the crash is I will see the load time for each character interaction begin to slow. I wouldn't call it a freeze, just a 1 second "hiccup" in pulling up the data for the random conversation. Once that starts, which the frequency or its start time seems to be random and again only when all three items are of the same IP, it is usually 5-6 minutes later the game will freeze.

I have been able to occasionally "restart" the game by hitting the xbox button on my controller (the window pop up noise is heard, but not displayed on screen), hit the B button and sometimes ( 1 out of 5 ) the game can skip forward and continue on.

Any more information needed, please let me know. Again great game and even with this issue I am loving every minute of it. :D

When the freeze occurs, you mentioned you can press the Xbox button on the controller. How long after the freeze are you waiting before shutting off your Xbox? If the Xbox button is responsive (such as loading the mini-menu or playing a sound), then the game should 'un-freeze' soon (30-60 seconds).

The mini menu doesn't show, it only makes the noise ( as if the menu is popping up behind the game ) and I am usually waiting about 45 - 60 seconds after initial freezing before attempting this. I will let menu stay up ( again it is popping up behind the game image) for about 30 seconds, hit the B button to back out and see if the game resets. This has been successful 50% of the time. I will wait to reset xbox approx 90 seconds after if it was not.

I keep running into this problem as well. I love the game, but it froze on me 4 or 5 times already. Just now it froze just when I was about to go all-in (with a full house, no less). It just froze on claptrap looking at the table. No buttons responded, neither did the xbox menu. I had to shut off the xbox completely.
I really dig all your stuff Telltale. But the Poker Night has problems, unfortunately. Hoping for a patch!
