Episode 4 decisions not loading to 5

Hey people,

Any idea how to resolve this really odd issue I'm having: In episode 4, I clearly let Ben die by falling down the clock tower and also have built up enough of a relationship with Christa and Omid that they accompany me. Also Kenny is not so keen on coming with me. But every single time I load episode 5 directly after finishing 4: it loads with Ben alive, Christa and Omid declining to come with me and Kenny coming with me. I've attempted to use the suggestion by Burninator for resolving save issues but there is no pref.prop inside the steam folder, only within the my documents folder. I kind of hate Ben so any suggestion to avoid having to deal with him all the way through episode 5 would be highly appreciated.

btw, i read through the forums a bit and found a moderator suggesting using a tool to gather data to determine what the issue might be. I've attached the file that results from that.

    There is a prefs.prop in
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\WalkingDead104
    please try moving it to
    C:\Users\C\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead
    but keep a backup copy of the original prefs.prop to be safe.
