Achievements/Unlockables Problem

So..I was playing this game while not connected to the internet. I have Steam cloud disabled from the settings because it used to cause me some trouble. I finally won a tournament and won Sam's Banjo. Knowing I was offline, I didn't worry about the achievement not popping up at first. After a few hours I started Steam and my computer normally,having connected to the internet. I was surprised to find out that my achievement had not appeared. I entered the game,trying to get it to sync somehow. No luck. I then wanted to see if the rewards at least were there. To my surprise and anger, I found that only the item associated with Borderlands 2, the Gaige head, was there. The Team Fortress 2 item,however,was not. In Poker Night's 2 menu it states that TF2's items are in-sync with the achievements and they cannot be re-downloaded. I now fear that my item might be permanently lost. What I want to know is :

1. Is this a "bug" that will eventually be fixed?
2. If not,can I do anything to the data stored in my computer to fix it myself? (all the folders inside mydocuments/games/telltale/pn2/syncfs are empty - the data,meta and temp folders I mean)

I should mention I am own the PC version of the game.

I await a response from telltale staff or anyone that can help me with this problem.Thank you

Due to the Steam architecture, achievements cannot be acquired while playing in offline mode or without an active internet connection. For more information on Steam’s policy regarding achievements, please see the following thread:

Unfortunately, the only way to unlock the achievement and corresponding TF2 item would be to remove your save game and prefs.prop file from your system and reacquire the achievement while playing online. To avoid this issue arising from an interruption in internet service, we advise that you occasionally make a backup copy of your save and prefs before earning a bounty achievement.

Can you tell us the specific locations of these files? I'm having difficulty digging them up.

The save game files for Telltale games very depending on the OS but for most Windows operating systems they should be at %USERPROFILE%\Telltale Games\Poker Night 2

According to http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=791583#post791583 you will want to move the whole Poker Night 2 folder since both files in there are connected.

Well I must say that this does indeed suck as I played the game enough to unlock all of the bounty items but, I don't know if I can go through playing it all again. I mean sure the game was fun but, I honestly don't really wanna have to put myself through all the trouble of getting the specific bounty challenges.

I mean for the GLaDOS item, I had to do over 10 Tournaments just to get and, win a showdown with a High-Card win. If I knew that I wasn't gonna get my items, I wouldn't have even bothered to play.....

You can try contacting Valve Support directly as they may be able to assist you with these items.

I have got the same problem. My friend, too.

My Steam was online. And all of my bounties were counted. But not he last one (Glados).
Twenty minutes (or so) before, I got the Mechromancer Borderlands Head. And it works.

my friend bought PN2 and played it. Yesterday he won the Necronomicon. A steam achievemt pops up. But nothing in SHIFT and nothing at Borderlands 2

Yes it took many hours and tournaments to get all items, especially Glados was hard to get. And I won't play it all again! (even it was fun)

I am in contact with Telltale Support, but I do not have a solution.
And I am in contact with SHIFT (gearboxsoftware). They ask for screenshots and I send them the needed screenshots. Still no answer yet.

Steam was contacted, too. But they say that they cannot do anything. It was a general answer and it seems not to be a special answer to my problem.
so steam is not that help.

I have a simular problem:
I played offline, got the cursed-book-thingy, got the achivement, went online the next day and after a couple of times restarting TF2 I got the Hat. THEN I played again (,while I was online), got the banjo and got no achivement or items.
