  • PSN is running in limited mode since about midnight pacific Time Saturday night I've had the message pop up on screen that they are presently performing maintenance now. Be happy PS4 access is shut down completely in my area.

  • This could be a fun game but it's miserable to play. It lags out constantly and if you look at this thread it's been lagging like this for way to long to not have a patch to fix this bs.

I apologize for the inconvenience. First, please make sure that you have at least 10% free space on your hard drive to allow for game caching. If you have done that, then please make sure to delete all game data for the game and let it redownload any necessary patches. To do this, navigate to Game Data Utilities, select your Poker Night 2 game data and press Triangle, then Delete.

Also, please try to Restore the File System and Rebuild the Database. To do this, start with the system in standby mode (redlight on), and hold the power button down (the system will turn on and turn off). Now press and hold the power button again. It will beep as it turns on and then it will double beep. When you hear the double beeps immediately take your finger off the power button. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via USB and then hit the PS button.

If none of these help, you can try waiting for the 'Saving' icon to disappear before betting on the next hand. Also, once another character is eliminated from the tournament, performance improves. Knocking out another character will nearly eliminate all hitching. Lastly, restarting the game from time to time will also help to avoid hard locks or crashes that require the system to be rebooted. While these suggestions are not a solution, they should help to improve the performance of the game.

  • I think it's despicable that this game is still available for sale on PSN. It is UNPLAYABLE.

I was one of the unfortunates who actually paid for the game before it was free on PS+. I haven't purchased another TellTale game since.

Support for the game is nonexistent. When TT finally decides to reply to our pleas for a patch/fix, they give us band-aids that don't really work. "Restarting the game from time to time" doesn't help us when "time to time" means "every 15 minutes when it crashes". That doesn't include the CONSTANT temporary lock-ups and skipping dialogue. If this game actually worked, it would've been one of my favorites. Unfortunately it remains permanently deleted from my PS3 and a horrible memory of when I spent money on NOTHING.

People talk about games that are cash-grabs, but at least they provide some sort of working content. The PS3 edition of this game is the very definition of a cash-grab, as it was obviously thrown-together by a team of baboons (I feel like I'm insulting baboons here), and shat out onto PSN in hopes of pulling in fast cash from unsuspecting buyers who actually think they're getting a working product.

    HORRIBLE. DESPICABLE. GARBAGE.
