Game Constantly Freezes (Mac)

'm running the game on Mac OS on a mid-2011 iMac. I set the game to highest settings and it ran perfectly, but then the game decided to freeze at the end of basically every cutscene for abou 5+ mins, sometimes seemingly indefinately, so I'd have to force quit (the music and other sounds could still be heard when the game was frozen though). I tried setting the game to lowest settings thinking it would fix this, alas it did not. My game still freezes constantly. Does anyone know of a fix to this? Also, at the press start screen when you first boot up the game, my game freezes and takes about 3 minutes just to get to the main menu. What is happening? Please help! I've only been able to get to the first encounter with Clementine because of this terrible stuff!

    Please follow the instructions to run the Support Tool and attach the resulting "support_data_mac.zip" to your next reply in this thread.

    Sadly I don't see anything obvious. I am not a Mac expert either, so there's not much I can do for you.

    You could try rebooting your Mac though.
    verifying the game cache files or uninstalling/reinstalling the game is also worth a try.

    Okay, thanks for trying to help anyways! I'll go try restarting my Mac because I've already tried uninstalling it and verifying the game cache.
