The Walking Deads - NO SOUND

Hey there,
just bought The walking dead for pc and installed it. everythings running fine, graphics etc....
But one thing is kinda annoying..
No sound at all. no music no dialogs, nothing.
checked soundcard updated everything still nothing. reboot and reinstalled, still nothing. Is there any chance that i can play this game with sound ? Pls someone help me :((

    Alright. Please make sure that the sound is turned up in-game and that it's not muted for the individual application, as described here.

    If that's not the problem, I suggest you try updating to the latest Realtek HDA Driver.

    Still no sound. Tried everything :(( I want this so bad to run :(

    I have seen some people with that issue before, but i haven't found a fix yet.

    Let's test something. Start the game and put it into windowed mode. Choose a small resolution to make the window smaller.

    Then open the "lautstärkemixer" by pressing the windows start button and typing "sndvol". Scroll it, so you can see the "The Walking Dead" icon, as in the image below with the caption "Telltale Games".
    Position both windows next to each other so you can see them at the same time.

    Now click on the "The Walking Dead" window, and move the mouse across the Menu options "Play", "Episode Status", "settings" and "Exit". Normally it makes a sound when the mouse hovers over one of them.
    Look at the "Lautstärkemixer" and check if you see the green bars indicating sound as in the image below while you move the mouse across the menu options.

    It works, green bars on the generel volume and twd. so the system shows me the volume/sound but i cant hear it :/

    I have no idea what's going on there :-/

    Do you have any other games from Telltale games, and if so, does the sound work?

    If not, please try if you have sound with the Tales of Monkey Island demo.

    I'm sorry to say that, but i'm tired of trying everything. I just resell the game to a friend and better not buy any other games from telltale just to be sure :/ Not your fault! Really good and fast support ! Thumbs up :)
