game doesn't start - Support Data Attached

I seem to get the same error as many, the game just crash before it starts

i managed to start the game by running it with windows XP s3 compatibility.

I know the game doesn't support windows 8, but I'm running on windows 7 so is 7 also incompatible?

It should work on Win 7.

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)

I suggest you install windows updates and Service Packs, and try if it still crashes without compatibility mode.

If it does, please check if the game crash creates an entry in the
event viewer in the "Windows Logs/Application" section.
If so, right click the entry, select "copy the details as text", and paste them in a new reply.

Downloaded on a Mac. When I tried to start the game. I got this message:

“TheWalkingDead” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash."
Deleted everything and downloaded again.

Same thing happened.
