(PC)Xbox 360 controller problem

I am playing the Walking Dead on windows 8 64bit. I already did the "dinput8.dll" thing, it starts with the controller fine but when I move the crosshair thing around ingame it goes to the right side of the screen whenever I let go of the right analog stick. Anyway to fix this?

    The dinput.dll workaround was submitted by users and is not an official solution. Due to this file being different on all installs of Windows, you may have a different version of the file than other users or your controller may be damaged.
