Can't play any episode, besides episode 1

I finish episode 1 and I go to start the next episode and it says

"Rewinding will delete any progress made after this point, but retain progress made up to this point.

Do you want to rewind to this checkpoint?"

then if I select yes or no, it goes to a black screen where I can still move my mouse around. It never loads.

Please follow the instructions to run the Support Tool and attach the resulting "support_data_pc.zip" or "support_data_mac.zip" to your next reply in this thread.

I got to run "create_support_data.bat" and follow the instructions on the screen. Then when it tells me to hit enter the box dissapears and nothing happens. My "support_data_pc.zip" never shows up.

That's just the file path on your PC. Please attach the file using the forums attach feature, or upload it to an instant filehoster and post the download link.

Well, almost. I don't know what you did exactly, but you have uploaded this user's support_data_pc.zip, not your own.

Just try again. Make sure you unzip the support tool before running the .bat.

Well, then I'm back to square one. I run the "create_support_data.bat" thing, it pops up. I follow its instructions and hit enter and it shuts down. Then nothing.

The support tool logs what it's doing, so a screenshot of the tools window, just before pressing enter, should help.

Ahh, that could be the problem. Let me try that. Sorry, never done this before.

Ok, I think I may have finally done it. Hope so at least.

That looks good, and it shows the problem.

The solution requires some basic file handling.

Please rename the file prefs.prop in
    C:\Users\Alvin\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead
    to prefs.prop.bak to deactivate it

    Then move the prefs.prop from
    C:\Program Files (x86)\New Folder\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default
    to
    C:\Users\Alvin\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead
