"No Internet Connection"

Whenever I try to download any episode (2-5) it says I have no internet connection. Seeing as I am on the internet right now, it is clear that my computer does not know what it is talking about. I recently moved and at my old house it would start to download but freeze at 99%, now it won't even start. Any help? I'm on a Macbook Pro 15 (a veritable dinosaur, but it does its best).

My computer doesn't allow me to back stuff up so I don't know if I can do the support thing.

What kind of internet connection do you have?
Please try running the support tool anyway, because otherwise i have nothing to work with.

i have the same problem Is it possible that the server's are down temporarily because of the new DLC that comes out tomorrow? That makes sense to me I would be patient and tomorrow if the problem persists contact TTG for help because I tried the support tool and no dice didn't work.

Do you have a Mac too?
What didn't work about the support tool?
What error messages does it show?

    You have two savegame folders:
    /Users/spotlightmusic/Library/Application Support/Telltale Games/TheWalkingDead/SyncFs/Meta/WalkingDead101PatchFs.json
    /Users/spotlightmusic/Library/Application Support/telltale games/thewalkingdead/SyncFs/Meta/WalkingDead101PatchFs.json

That's why the support tool failed.
It should have created a "data.txt" though, so please upload that instead.

    See later post.

Can you please navigate to your Application Support folder (/Users/spotlightmusic/Library/Application Support) and then take a screenshot that shows the contents of this folder? This screenshot should include both folders named 'Telltale Games'.

Also, have you moved or renamed this folder at any time? When you downloaded the DLC episodes of Walking Dead, did they all download and install normally through the in-game content menu?

Turns out I introduced a bug in the support tool recently, assuming Mac file systems were case sensitive as other unixes.
So basically there is indeed just one savegame folder. Sorry about that.

Sadly I don't know how to fix the connection issue.

The support tool should work properly now, but i don't expect it to help in this case.

here is a screen cap and when i bought the game i had to download episode 2 twice because the first time it got stuck i don't remember at what percent i found a back up of the game that i made a long time ago and replaced the dlc files and it worked for a day. Now my game is stuck at the title screen after saying connecting. oh and no i have not renamed or moved this folder at any time all that i have done is delete and replace the contents of the data folder where the DLC is kept

There is only one folder named telltale games in application support

Hey, I have the same problem. I bought the season pass when it first came out. I later uninstalled the game. I've now reinstalled the game but when I try to download any episode, it says I lose my internet connection even though I'm online right now and it's working fine.

Please try shutting down the game application and restarting your computer before attempting the download again. If you have a firewall or anti-virus software running, please disable them as this may interfere with the game connecting to our server.

If you are unable to resolve this issue you may find some further assistance in our forum. One of our moderators put together an unofficial guide for Mac users here - https://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33233. Please take a look at this thread and see if this solution works for you. This may appear complicated on the surface, but the 'Manual Download' option should be fairly straight forward if you'd like to try it.

It also says that I don't have the license to play the game and must purchase it again. I started it and accessed the main menu. When the internet connection problem occurred I switched the game off to try again when it now says I need to buy it again. Windows xp is what it is.

Same problem here trying to download the new DLC. Just sits on 0% for ages and then complains about no connection.

The absolute dreadfulness of telltale walking dead game launcher has flooded back to me now. It really is the most awful annoying bunch of wank i have ever had the misfortune to use. It is just not fit for purpose. The only reason i persevered is TWD game was soo damn good! I hope to hell you guys can fix it for season 2.

Now its even worse for me. I tried multiple times logging in and downloading all the episodes, but I get the standard 'check your internet connection' which is obviously wrong since I can easily post this on your forums right now. But now when I try to connect to the game, I get a new error message saying that 'the account I've linked to with Tell Tale Games does not have a license to this game, shall I go to the website to buy it?' Hell no! I already paid once! What now? I can't get past this and I already paid once. This is bull.
