Cant get 400 days to work. Or any of it for that matter

So, I downloaded and purchased the game today through steam. Steam directs me here by the way before I am told to take it up with them, I have lol. I have tried running as admin, I have tried verifying the cache files, I have reinstalled and redownloaded the game, I have updated my drivers, I have updated directX, I am at a loss of what to try next. I don't have a controller plugged in before someone says to do that I only have a mouse and keyboard plugged in atm. It keeps saying Walkingdead101.exe has stopped working. I never had this problem until I downloaded the DLC. Please please help.

Got the same error and no idea what to do. Once or twice though, I've managed to access it only for it to start crashing again once I exit the game. Tried validating and reinstalling it and it didn't seem to work.

This is a little disappointing. I have been on all the forums and nothing yet as to a work around. I even tried their pc tool and it doesn't work as it says it should on the sticky.

This may be an issue with your Steam Client. Please try repairing it by navigating to 'Control Panel', then Programs, then Programs and Features. Once the list has populated find Steam and then select 'Repair'.

Please check if the game crash creates an entry in the
event viewer in the "Windows Logs/Application" section.
If so, right click the entry, select "copy the details as text", and paste them in a new reply.

Also please post a screenshot of the support tool after it ran. It should show useful error messages.

When I do this as you said I get this message saying : The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation pakage steam install(3).msi in the box below.
Then when I click ok it says 'the installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the sourse exists and that you can access it.'

When I run the tool the dxdiag shows up in a dos looking like format and everything says access denied and I am not getting the folder I should to be able to post to you.

Please post a screenshot of the support tool after it ran as far as it gets, or copy all the text it shows.
