Mac version freezes during loading screen, occasionally crasches

Hey guys,

Bought the game during the weekly Humble Bundle thingie. "Hey", I thought, "all the episodes! The first episode worked perfectly on iOS, I bet it will work great on my Mac too!". Well, no such luck.

During pretty much all the loading sequences, the game freezes for 10-20 seconds. Music and sounds can still be heard during this time. Additionally, the game crashed during the first loading sequence when I had changed all the graphics options to low / off, as to reduce any strain on the computer that might be causing the problem.

I am running the game via Steam on a mid 2012 Macbook Pro running Mac OS X 10.8.4. I am including the support tool zip file.

    Same here on a Mac with SSD, this is definitely not a disk speed problem.

    having the same issue. re-downloaded the game and all and still just freezes on home screen. please fix. logs attached.

    any update here? nothing is working.

    I will take the hint from Telltale and simply play the game on my Win 7 PC instead. Hell, I´m not even mad: I payed 1 dollar for the whole season. If anything, THEy should be mad at ME!
