TWD on OSX goes straight to black screen.

For The Walking Dead.
Telltale support couldn't offer any advice beyond settings in system prefs. It goes straight to a black screen and I have to press cmd-Q or opt-cmd-esc to quit out of it. I've re-downloaded 3 times and reinstalled maybe 8 or 9 times.
Specs are:
Macbook Pro mid 2012
OSX 10.8.3
2.9 GHz Intel core i7
8GB RAM

HELP!!!

    Does switching the game to windowed mode by pressing Command + F change anything?

    If it doesn't, please follow the instructions to run the Support Tool and attach the resulting "support_data_mac.zip" to your next reply in this thread.
