Mac - Won't save games

Just got this last night, played episode 1 to the Farm and quit. Loaded it today and no save game. Played to the farm again, exited to the main menu. Saw Game 1 was saved. game crashed and now there are no saved games again. How am I supposed to play this if it won't allow me to save my game.

Not Impressed.
