Saved Data/Preferences Not Loading

I tried playing TWD today and was unable to open the game at first. Once I got it open all my saved data (I was mid-way through Ep 5) and gameplay preferences didn't load though my achievements are still listed in Steam. I was able to play last week with no problems and haven't made any changes to my computer since then. Any help would be appreciated.

    Judging by the size your prefs.prop has been corrupted and replaced.
    The only way of restoring it is restoring a backup copy of it.
