black screen loading 400 from save

Hey,

when trying to play the DLC from my save (which i completed all 5 episodes with im getting a black screen.

    thought id attached the support file, musn't have finished the upload process.

    Does it work if you start 400 days on an empty save slot with random choices?

    No, but a different issue. It asks if i want it to generate choices (yes) then loads episode 1 :-S

    Weird. Do you have the Steam version or the TTG store version?

    Steam. ive reloaded several times. One time it did work on my old save

    started on ep 5, clicked continue to move to 400, clicked play (asks if i want to rewind to 400 ep) and then it loaded episode 2.

    Every other time (including the first few) it just stays on the black screen. It always asks if i want to rewind the save though, despite it being the last episode and the games ''continue' taking me to it.

    I see. One thing you can try is creating a new user account on your Mac, and reinstalling the game there. It should download your savegames from the steam cloud unless you have disabled it.

    it loaded a game starting at episode 2, i guess that mean a corrupted save then? i have backups stretching back a while so ill see if i can recover it.

    After a long time 400 days was completely downloaded. YAY! but when I play it having completed the previous episodes and continuing from the end of 5, there's a black screen forever and I've tried multiple times so I did the support data thing and look forward to being helped.

    400 days is actually not installed on your system.

    I suggest you try installing it again.
    If that's not possible through the game, you might have to delete the contents of the folders
    /Users/josephdesiresemana/Library/Application Support/Telltale Games/TheWalkingDead/SyncFs/Meta
    and
    /Users/josephdesiresemana/Library/Application Support/Telltale Games/TheWalkingDead/SyncFs/Temp
