400 Days and no existing save file from Season 1
Hi,
I completed The Walking Dead in December, after that I uninstalled the game. I use Steam, so I was thinking there is some sort of cloud saving enabled either to Steam servers or Telltale servers as there is all that connecting thing to Telltale servers when you start the game.
Well, I bought the DLC at the beginning of July while travelling just so I would be ready to now start the playing again after vacations. I installed the game back from Steam to my computer and was a bit surprised to notice that no existing save file is there anymore. Does this mean my whole experience with the first season is now lost? It's only giving me option with 400 days to "generate the skipped story content".
This is really sad as this means the story for the second season won't be according to how I played the first season...
What can I do now? I would like to continue the game not from scratch, but from after my experiences.
If there was some local save files on my computer, those should still be there if that was the point of how this would continue if re-installing. I haven't deleted anything locally, just uninstalled the game over six months ago.
Can the tech wizards of Telltale help me with my issue?
Can I determine the events myself with the skipping feature or does it do that on random automatically and just choose something?

I have 69 save files still there that are the save files and also one prefs.prop file. The prefs.prop file size is 61,8KB, Then there is a folder called SyncFs which has three subfolders, but all are empty.
How can I make the game to recognize this folder, I installed the game on C: drive just like I did last year.
In that Telltale folder I have only the Walking Dead, but there is another Telltale Folder also under my user name folder that has all the other Telltale games I have had installed.
That folder is the following: C:\Users\Juha\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead
But that Walking Dead folder is empty. Just has the prefs.prop file sized 6,61KB and the empty SyncFs folder.
I copied the files from the location C:\Users\Public\Documents\Telltale Games\the walking dead to the other location under my user name, and now it recognized the save files.
I wonder why it originally used the other location last year? Strange, but at least I can continue now from where I left off.
