December Interloper (yes, just a month after the last one!)

TelltaleGamesTelltaleGames Former Telltale Staff
Yes, you can pick your jaw up off the floor... we've now released TWO whole newsletters a month apart. Just the way newsletters are supposed to be. And we might just keep doing it this way in 2008 (no promises, though).

Why should you read the December Interloper? If the personal Christmas anecdote from Dan isn't incentive enough, there's also a gorgeous holiday graphic from Steve Purcell. That's right, THE Steve Purcell. Happy holidays!

SPRING FEVER STRIKES JAN. 11
Feelance Police to cavort with locals, fulfill ancient prophecy

Just when the serene magic of the holiday season is starting to touch your soul, Sam & Max are here to dish up a serious case of the blues -- the Moai Better Blues, that is. The Freelance Police head to Easter Island to take care of some business with a giant triangle, and while there, get mixed up in an ancient prophecy that threatens to blast the ancient Moai heads into kingdom come. Lovers will fight, babies will dance, and if we did our jobs right, you'll laugh until you pee.

Sam & Max 202 will debut January 10 for GameTap subscribers, and will be released from Telltale's website on Friday, January 11, to customers worldwide. (If you already bought Season Two, you'll get an email letting you know as soon as it's available for download.)

Are you a chronic last-minute shopper? You're not alone. Telltale CEO Dan Connors shares his story:

I used to run to whatever drugstore was open at 5:00 on Christmas Eve and pick up crappy presents for everyone. Bar of soap for Brother, deck of cards for Sis, six pack of sponges for Mom, etc.

Now, in the digital age, I can go online and shoot my nephew an unlock code for an episode or season of Sam & Max, and he's stoked he just got a new game which is what he wanted to begin with. It's perfect!
