Telltale at PAX 2009!
We've been gearing up for the excellent Penny Arcade Expo for the past few weeks, and members of the Telltale team will start to descend on the Emerald City today and tomorrow to set up our official presence at the show.
PAX 2009 kicks off this Friday, September 4th, and runs through Sunday, September 6th. So, if you're in the Seattle area (or are headed there), and you somehow managed to snap up a PAX badge before they totally sold all of them, you should come visit us at Booth #612 and talk to some friendly Telltale folk. We'll be hanging out, selling merchandise, and demoing our games.
Plus, we'll have several special guests at the booth, including Monkey Island writer/designer/alleged Grog XD brewmaster Dave Grossman, Monkey Island writer/designer Mark Darin, Dominic Armato (the nigh-inimitable voice of Guybrush Threepwood), and Telltale concept artist extraordinaire Ryan Jones!
PAX-goers should also not miss the Telltale Games "Make a Scene" panel at the Raven Theater, which happens on Saturday from 4-5pm. This year we'll be allowing panel attendees to create their own Monkey Island moment with the help the skilled Telltale choreography team and the Tales of Monkey Island designers. Check out a video of last year's panel for clues as to what may lie ahead for Mr. Threepwood.
We'll be updating our Twitter feed with compelling words and visuals from the show floor, so keep an eye on the PAX goings-on if you can't make it to the show!
