Michael Whitwell, 1953-2009

Hey guys, I've got some sad news to report. Michael Whitwell, a well-known North Bay musician and the the main trumpet player for both Sam & Max seasons, passed away on Thursday, September 17th after a long and difficult battle with cancer. He was 56.

Sam & Max composer Jared Emerson-Johnson sent over a piece of music which really highlights Mr. Whitwell's musical talent. He adds, "Below is one of my favorite Sam & Max tracks that features him--a cue I wrote specifically for him, back on Ice Station Santa."

Whitwell is survived by his wife Catherine, his brother Craig, and two daughters, April and Emily. Everyone at Telltale would like to wish Michael's family the best during this difficult time.
