This Week at Telltale: Macs, FAQs, and Heart Attacks
We've been overwhelmed by the positive responses from announcing our new Mac gaming initiative, here's ome of the highlights that made our day:
"Hopefully Telltale ports its entire catalogue soon, because the company is widely regarded as some of the best adventure game developers out there."
-MacWorld
"As someone who moonlights as a Mac gamer when I'm on my laptop, I'd just like to say thank you, Telltale."
-Kotaku
With the launch of Monkey Island on Mac, a couple of common questions have bubbled up from the community, and we'd like to address them right now! First, there's the matter of the Monkey Island collector's DVD format. Right now, the plan is to include both the Windows and Mac versions of each game on the disc. Second, some Steam and WiiWare folks have been asking whether they can get the Mac version as well. Unfortunately, only folks who buy from telltalegames.com are eligible to get it for Mac & PC at one price.
If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to use the forum or support email to contact us, but be advised that we are going to be on holiday this Monday February 15th! If you need some distraction on U.S. President's Day, we remind you that Abe Lincoln Must Die is still free for PC users. Go snag it.
Of course, who can forget that this weekend holds two holidays for those of us in the US? As we know, Sunday is Valentine's Day, and our darling forumers have shared their artistic talent in making Telltale-Themed Valentine Cards! Here's a few you can share on Sunday:
For bigger versions of Junaid's Valentines, check out the forum thread.
Avistew, DinghisKhan and Junaid will get a free game episode and Junaid will get a special somethin' for being so awesome. It isn't too late to print these our yourself and gift (or threaten?) someone you hold dear.
All's fair in love... and war! The Mac Revolution has Telltale fans on their toes, wondering what the next game ported to Mac will be. The choice is yours! As with any wartime effort, what's a battle without any propaganda? Running until next week, Thursday the 18th, we're challenging you to support your favorite game series by drawing up some propaganda like posters and buttons to get the world on your side. Influence voters across the internet! Draw for Democracy!
It's been quite a week and MacWorld isn't even over yet! If you happen to be attending, a reminder to visit us in booth #786 for some idle chatter. Bring a tribute of caffeinated beverages and/or chocolate. It makes diplomatic relations much easier.
Take care 'til Tuesday, don't miss us too much!
